custom portraits

Portraits commissions are available. My portrait work is 1.50 per sq inch. My go-to size for a portrait is 20”x20” and is $600, that size is really a sweet spot for getting the detail. I do not paint them smaller than that because it’s too hard to get the right amount of detail in the smaller canvases. I am happy to paint them larger than 20”x20” however. I need high resolution photos to work from (usually a well-lit close-up with an iphone or other new phone works well) I ask that you send me 3-4 options to choose from and reference. I ask for 50% payment up front and I usually finish them in a few weeks, but I can’t promise a certain date. I can typically work with a certain color palette to fit the décor of your home if requested.
